Thomas Kretschmann in a German Actor who stars in the sci-fi movie Immortal. Immortal is based on the French Comic Book Series by Enki Bilal. The short description of Immortal is that the movie is about The Egyptian God Horus traveling to 2095 New York City in his flying pyramid. Horus is in search of a compatible human body to inhabit to use to impregnate a unique alien female with white skin and blue hair. Horus uses Thomas Kretschmann's body to mate the female alien who can procreate with the Gods.
Horus is under some kind of death sentence from the other Gods for "rebellion". And, apparently, procreating and producing a son is one way for Horus to extend his "consciousness". CLICK HERE for more description of Immortal.
BTW, immortal is in English but it is a French production. One website says that all of the actors' voices were dubbed by other actors. The woman playing the alien female sounds a little bit like Madonna at times.

There is some rumor on the net that Thomas was originally suppose to play the Nazis character in the movie that Tom Cruise is currently filming.
